DePere-Suamico, Memorial Drive – CTH M, IH 43 Early Structures/Early Fill, USH 41 Project

In August 2013, Super Excavators was elected to execute a subcontract to Lunda Construction on the DePere-Suamico, Memorial Drive – CTH M, IH 43 Early Structures/Early Fill, USH 41 Project near Green Bay, Wisconsin.  The project’s scope of work includes the construction of five new bridges, four retaining walls, and related grading and storm sewer work. 

Super Excavators’ subcontract includes open cut and tunnel excavated utilities.  In total, we are constructing 33,656 linear feet of 12-inch to 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer – including 1,456 linear feet of 48-inch RCP  microtunnel constructed in three runs.  Our sister company, SX Foundations, is responsible for constructing sound mounted posts for sound walls.

Construction for this project began in September 2013, and substantial completion is estimated for May 2015.
